Timothy Byhre

Tim has 20 years of financial experience, including ten years of business valuation experience in multiple industries and asset classes. Tim advises companies on the valuation of interests in closely held entities for income tax planning and compliance, estate and gift tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, and litigation. He has significant experience valuing hedge fund, private equity, and venture capital positions, including debt, equity, preferred stock, options, and warrants. He has experience in a broad range of industries, including reporting across a broad range of industries, including financial services, industrial, retail, consumer products, and professional services. In addition, he has provided valuation for financial reporting purposes (ASC 350-20, 718, 805 and 820), Before joining RSM, he spent nine years at a global corporate advisory and valuation firm, where he ran numerous engagements centered on the valuation of equity for closely held interests.
