Steve Bailey

Steve Bailey is a managing director at PGIM Real Estate and head of Prudential Real Estate Debt Strategies (PREDS). Based in New York, Steve is responsible for managing all aspects of PGIM Real Estate’s U.S. debt investment funds and any future PREDS investment funds and vehicles, including portfolio strategy, investment decisions, and management of the investment team. PREDS is a collaboration between PGIM Real Estate and Prudential Mortgage Capital Company (PMCC) focused on investing in real estate high yield debt in the United States on behalf of institutional clients. Previously, Steve was a senior managing director and co-head of the Debt group at Heitman LLC, where he was responsible for strategy, business development, investment and portfolio management activities related to all debt investment mandates executed on behalf of clients. In that role, Steve was also a member of Heitman’s Senior Management and Debt Investment Committees. Prior to that, he was an executive vice president and regional manager within the Commercial Real Estate business at US Bancorp. Previously, Steve held various roles in the real estate banking and real estate development sectors. Steve has a bachelor’s degree in construction administration from the University of Wisconsin and a master of business administration from the University of Minnesota.
