Vettivetpillai is a member of The Abraaj Group’s Executive and Investment Committees and has 20 years of direct private equity investing experience. He previously held the positions of Chief Executive Officer of Aureos Advisers Ltd and Chief Investment Officer for the Aureos Group, where he was instrumental in implementing the Aureos investment philosophy and strategy of investing in small and medium-sized companies across global emerging markets. Prior to joining Aureos, Vettivetpillai was a Senior Investment Executive at CDC Group plc. Vettivetpillai’s other appointments were at Vanik Incorporation as a Portfolio Manager and Mott Macdonald Group (UK) as an Engineer.
