Peter Freire

Peter serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Institutional Limited Partners Association (ILPA) the leading global, member-driven organization dedicated to advancing the interests of private equity Limited Partners through industry-leading education programs, independent research, best practices, networking opportunities and global collaborations. The ILPA membership has grown to include over 300 member organizations from around the world representing over US $1 trillion of private assets globally. Peter has particular expertise in developing and scaling subscription- and membership-based business models, developed over a 20-year career at CEB (formerly the Corporate Executive Board) and the World Economic Forum. Immediately prior to the ILPA he led his own consultancy and advisory business focused on helping smaller-sized companies develop and execute their business strategies. Peter's professional career started as a banker, financing aircraft in the aviation and airline industries with Bank of America and then as a consultant with Bain & Co.
