As the Oil & Gas Transaction Advisory Services Leader in the Southwest Region, Mitch spearheads and helps support multinational oil and gas clients by coordinating the firm’s US transaction services efforts. As a principal in EY’s Transaction Advisory Services group, he specializes in valuation and business modeling, specifically the financial analysis and fair market valuation of debt, equity securities, and intangible assets (both technical and non-technical assets) for closely-held and publicly traded companies.
His recent engagements have spanned all sectors of the oil and gas as well as the power and utilities industries. Expertise includes: mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, fairness opinions, strategic alternative evaluation purposes, and collateral purposes. In addition, Mitch regularly helps clients with stockholder disputes, purchase price allocations and impairment testing, and tax planning.
