Melissa Kang

Kang is a Principal Investment Officer and Regional Lead, Private Equity Funds for East Asia Pacific at International Finance Corporation, based in Jakarta. In her role, Melissa oversees all activities relating to private equity fund investments and leads the effort in deal sourcing, business development and delivery for private equity funds in the region. Melissa has over 22 years of professional experience including Corporate Finance, Investment Research and 15 years in Private Equity Investing. Prior to IFC, Melissa had spent five years at ING Group where she was CEO of the group’s Asia focused private equity fund of funds business, based out of Hong Kong. Before that, Melissa had global responsibility for the private equity investment program at ING Private Bank.
