Mark Van Zandt

Mark Van Zandt is a Partner of GreenOak, based in New York. He is responsible for GreenOak’s real estate activities in the Eastern United States. Mark has been with GreenOak since its founding in 2010 and has been involved in the sourcing, structuring and management of all GreenOak investments on the East Coast. Mark has 15 years of experience in the real estate industry as an investor and lender. Prior to GreenOak, Mark was a Vice President of Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing (MSREI) and a member of the team responsible for new investments in the United States on behalf of the Morgan Stanley Real Estate (MSRE) funds. From 2007 through 2008, Mark was based in São Paulo, Brazil, as part of a five-person team responsible for establishing MSREI’s platform in South America. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2004, Mark worked in the real estate group of LaSalle Bank, based in Chicago.
