Jeronimo Gerard

Gerard is currently President of Mexico Retail Properties. MRP is a development, acquisition and management company of institutional retail properties and manages over US$2.0 billion in retail developments across Mexico. From 2000 to 2006 he worked with Telefónica, S.A. as Chief Financial Officer of Telefónica Móviles México, the second largest mobile operation in Mexico. Prior to Móviles, Gerard served as CEO of Telefónica’s B2B initiative where he was responsible of restructuring operations in the U.S., Spain, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Chile. Prior to Telefónica, Gerard was responsible for private equity investing in Mexico for the Latin America Enterprise Fund. Gerard was instrumental in prospecting and managing the Fund’s investments of more than US$85 million.
