J. Michael McGuire

Michael McGuire is the CEO of Grant Thornton LLP. He previously served as the Managing Partner of the four offices that comprise Grant Thornton’s Carolinas Practice. Mike is also a past member of the Firm’s Partnership Board. Mike has spent the last 30 years serving the needs of rapidly growing businesses throughout the Carolinas. His diversified experience includes working closely with high-growth, start-up and middle-market companies in a variety of industries. Mike has significant experience in capital markets transactions ranging from angel investing to Initial Public Offerings. He has advised numerous companies in a variety of industries in merger and acquisition strategies, due diligence and deal structure.
