Howard Morgan

Howard D. Morgan is a Partner and Senior Managing Director of Argand as well as member of the Management Committee and Investment Committee. He was the President of Castle Harlan from 2010 to 2015. He joined Castle Harlan in 1996 and has been active in mid-market private equity for 30 years. Until 2015, Mr. Morgan had also been a member of the Board and associated Board committees of CHAMP. Previously, Mr. Morgan was a partner at The Ropart Group, a private equity investment firm, and began his career as an Associate at Allen & Company, Inc. Mr. Morgan is a former director of over one dozen companies, including Shelf Drilling, Pretium Packaging, IDQ Holdings, Securus Technologies, Baker & Taylor, Polypipe Global Holdings, Austar United Communications Ltd., Norcast Wear Solutions, AmeriCast Technologies, Ion Track Instruments, Land ‘N’ Sea Distributing, Penrice Soda Products, and various CHAMP entities. He is a director and past Chairman of the Harvard Business School Club of New York, Vice Chairman of the Parkinson’s Foundation, a director of the Alexander Hamilton Institute and the World Press Institute, and a director and Treasurer of the Friends of the Garvan Institute of Medical Research. Mr. Morgan was a director and officer of the Harvard Business School Alumni Board from 2006-2011. He received his B.A. from Hamilton College in Mathematics and Government and his M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.
