Héctor Cateriano

More then 17 years of experience in private equity in emerging markets, mainly in Latin america. Along with private equity firm SEAF, he was one of the early promoters of the Columbian private equity industry was part of the design of the current regulatory framework. Since 2006, he led the investment efforts of the first diversified private equity fund in Columbia, Fondo Transandino Columbia (FTC), where he successfully completed the investment cycles and has already returned more than 100% of invested capital to local investors. As part of his responsibilities, he has been a member of the board and diverse committees of all of the fund's portfolio companies. Previously he served as Director for SEAF's India Growth Fund and SEAF's India International Growth Fund. He also served as Director for Estonia of SEAF's Baltic Small Equity Fund (BSEF). He attained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration form Universidad Católica de Santa María and a Masters of Business Administration from ESAN Business School.
