Mr. Edward M. Casal, also known as Ed, has been the Chief Executive of Global Real Estate Operations at Aviva Plc since June 1, 2015. Mr. Casal serves as the Chief Investment Officer of Real Estate of Aviva Investors Ireland Limited. He served as the Chief Executive Officer at Madison Harbor Balanced Strategies, Inc. Mr. Casal served as Managing Director of Global Indirect Real Estate at Aviva plc. He served as the Head of Global Indirect Real Estate at Aviva Investors Global Services Limited. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner of Madison Harbor Capital LLC, which he co-founded in 2003. His real estate career began in 1977 as a Real Estate Salesperson while in college. Since then, he spent over 20 years undertaking real estate transactions on behalf of institutional investors, industrial corporations and REITs while working at Goldman, Sachs & Co., Dillon, Read & Co, and UBS. He serves as the Chairman of Madison Harbor Balanced Strategies, Inc. He has been a Director of Parkway Properties Inc., since May 12, 2011. Mr. Casal received his B.A. from Tulane University and his MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business.
