Dana Allen Sands ​ has more than ​twenty​ years ​of experience in both investing and in investment banking in ​utility projects, including gas pipelines, gas utilities, local distribution gas companies, electric utilities and renewable energy projects primarily at Morgan Stanley and Alinda Capital, a $7 billion energy infrastructure fund. She is currently leading her firm’s efforts in financing a 200-mile pipeline in the mid-Atlantic as well as a local distribution gas company in the same region. She is also heavily involved in a large and complex project - establishing seventeen new gas utilities in the Pacific Northwest. Ms. Sands also headed up Salomon/Citibank's west-coast private placement group, where she raised funds for energy and clean-tech companies. Ms. Sands has significant C-suite experience, as COO of Evolution Markets, a renewable energy focused company, and as Alinda Capital's CFO.
