Christopher Macke

Chris brings 20 years of real estate experience to CBRE. His experience includes space and capital market research as well as active participation in these markets. This unique combination of research and “in-market” experience enables Mr. Macke to provide valuable insights into real estate investment strategy, space market dynamics and capital market dynamics. Chris’ experience as an active market participant includes real estate acquisitions, financing, leasing, development and underwriting. His experience spans office, industrial, retail, hospitality and multifamily real estate across the U.S. He has worked on core, value add and opportunistic real estate. Chris has worked with multi-tenant and single tenant real estate.  He has worked for large and boutique commercial real estate firms including G.E. Commercial Real Estate. His real estate research and consulting experience includes national and market level liquidity analysis, valuation cycles and methodologies, capital market cycles and market level space dynamics. Chris’ consulting experience includes private firms as well as regulatory agencies such as the U.S. Federal Reserve and U.S. Treasury Department.  He is currently a contributor to the Federal Reserve’s Midwest Beige Book.
