Mr. Dalzell has spent the past 22 years learning all facets of the commercial real estate industry in a wide variety of roles including sales and trading, mortgage finance, syndication, origination, cash flow modeling, investment banking, intermediary, private equity investor and investment committee member, and founder of Dalzell Capital Partners LLC. During the past 22 years, Mr. Dalzell has successfully closed 498 separate transactions aggregating more than $62 billion. Prior to creating DCP, Mr. Dalzell spent six years as the Global Head of Capital Markets for Starwood Capital Group Global, L.P., and the Global Head of Lending for Starwood Property Trust, Inc. Prior to his six years at Starwood Capital, Mr. Dalzell ran Eastdil Secured’s Capital Markets Group for four years between March 2006 and March 2010. Mr. Dalzell’s began his career as an Analyst at NationsBanc Montgomery Securities LLC (which later became Banc of America Securities LLC). During those initial 10 years at BAML, Mr. Dalzell grew from origination Analyst to Regional Head of BAML’s West Coast Region - CMBS Capital Markets Group.
