Chris Kazantis
Director, AEW Capital Management
Kazantis is a director of the firm and serves as senior portfolio manager for AEW Senior Housing Investors Funds. He is responsible for each of the funds' day-to-day management and operations, and is accountable for their performance. He has more than 29 years of direct real estate experience, with transactions including senior housing investments including age-restricted, independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing communities located in markets throughout the U.S. As portfolio manager, he is a voting member of the fund’s investment committee. Kazantis is assistant chair for the seniors housing council at Urban Land Institute and is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts.
