Burba joined Pine Brook in September 2008 and is a managing director on the energy investment team. He is responsible for Pine Brook’s investment activities in Canada and is also a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Mr. Burba represents Pine Brook as a director of Saguaro Resources Ltd and Serafina Energy Ltd. and is also involved in the firm’s investments in Forge Energy LLC, Common Resources LLC, Common Resources II, LLC, Common Resources III, LLC, and Phoenix Exploration Company, LP. Mr. Burba has over 13 years of experience in the energy sector as a principal investor, investment banker and project finance counsel.
