Tim Buchner

Tim Buchner has built his 20+ year career transforming emerging markets: from Wireless & Telecommunications to Renewable Energy. At both start-up and public companies, Tim has helped to disrupt and create new markets and drive profitable growth for innovative technology companies, with leadership roles across Sales, Business Development and Finance. In 2009, Tim co-founded Mercatus, a cloud-based software company serving the unique needs of alternative asset managers and investors. Tim has lead the deployment of the company's platform with the top global power companies and institutional investors. The platform today has more than $450B in assets and investments under management globally. Tim is a board member for the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Santa Clara University as well as an Advisory Board member for the Sustainability Advisory Committee also at Santa Clara University.
