Jorge Dickens
Managing Partner, ACON Investments
Jorge Dickens is a Partner of ACON Investments, a private equity investment firm with 15 years of experience in Latin America and the US, with offices in Washington D.C., Los Angeles, Mexico City, Sao Paulo and Madrid. In this capacity, Mr. Dickens is responsible for private equity and mezzanine investment activities in Latin America. Prior to joining ACON, he was Vice President at Darby Overseas Investments, where he was responsible for investment and monitoring activities of regional mezzanine funds. Prior to that, he was a Senior Associate with Santander Investments in Mexico City where he advised clients in corporate finance and cross-border M&A assignments. Mr. Dickens, a Mexican national, received an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering with a Masters degree in Economics from Universidad Anahuac (Mexico City). He currently serves on the board of InverCap Holdings (Mexico), Hidrotenencias (Panama), Waldo’s (Mexico) and has served in the board of the Mexican Private Equity Association.
