Neil Wizel

Neil A. Wizel is a Managing Director for First Reserve, a leading global private equity and infrastructure investment firm exclusively focused on energy. Mr. Wizel serves on our Private Equity Funds’ Investment Committee and is responsible for all aspects of investment origination throughout the energy value chain. As a senior investment professional, his responsibilities include deal origination and structuring, due diligence, execution, monitoring and exit strategy in the Resources; Equipment, Manufacturing, and Services; and Downstream and hydrocarbon processing assets. Since joining the firm in 2007, Neil has been instrumental to the accomplishments of First Reserve’s private equity team, with responsibility for investing the firm’s equity capital across a variety of energy investments.
