Michael Fascitelli

Michael D. Fascitelli, also known as Mike, served as the President of Alexander's Inc., from August 2000 to April 16, 2013. He served as the President of Vornado Realty Trust from 1996 to April 15, 2013 and its Chief Executive Officer from May 2009 to April 15, 2013. In 1985, he joined Goldman, Sachs & Co. in the Real Estate Department. He was a Partner at The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., in charge of its real estate practice from December 1992 to December 1996 and served as a Vice President prior to 1992. He has been active over the years in the real estate industry and his community. He served as the President of Vornado Operating Co., since December 1996. He was employed at McKinsey & Company, Inc. He joined the Bristol Myers Company. He serves as Vice Chairman of the Wharton Real Estate Center. He has been a Director of Real Estate Roundtable, The since July 2012 and Wayne Real Estate Company, LLC since July 2005. He serves as Member of the Advisory Board for International at Hypothekenbank Frankfurt Aktiengesellschaft (alternatively Eurohypo AG). He serves as Independent Trustee of Starwood Capital Group. He has been an Independent Trustee at Colony Starwood Homes since January 2014. He served as a Trustee at Starwood Waypoint Residential Trust since January 16, 2014. He has been a Non-Independent Trustee of Vornado Realty Trust since December 1996. He served as a Director of Alexander's Inc. from December 1996 to May 2013. He served as a Trustee of Gmh Communities Trust from August 10 2005 to June 2008. He served as a Non-Executive Director of Mapeley Limited since December 20, 2005. Fascitelli serves on the Board of the New York University Child Study Center, The Rockefeller University Board of Trustees and St. Bernard's Board of Trustees. He serves as a Trustee of the Urban Land Institute, a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Real Estate Board of New York. He also serves on the Board of Dean's Advisors of the Harvard Business School. He served as a Director of Toys "R" Us Inc. from July 21, 2005 to May 9, 2013. He served as a Director of Vornado Operating Co. since 1998.
