Max is an economist and strategist with 10 years of experience in alternative assets and 10 years of experience teaching Economics and Statistics at the graduate university level. Prior to launching Manhattan Venture Partners, Max was Chief Economist at Citizen VC, Inc., a financial technology and investment firm. Prior to joining Citizen VC, Max spent 4 years building the research and strategy practices at GreenCrest Capital. While at GreenCrest, Max authored or coauthored research reports on numerous private technology companies, including the first published equity research report on Facebook. Max has taught Economics, Development and International Affairs at the Milano Graduate Program in International Affairs, New School University for 9 years. Max is widely sought after for his commentary and insight on technology companies, and has made hundreds of appearances and published articles in leading media outlets including Bloomberg TV, CNBC, Fox News, The Financial Times, CBS Evening News, ABC News, BBC, and The Wall Street Journal.
