Beth Lowery, TPG Capital

Elizabeth Lowery is a Managing Director at TPG, where she leads the firm’s sustainability and ESG efforts. Prior to joining TPG in 2012, Beth spent 20 years with General Motors Company, where she was a member of GM’s Senior Leadership Group as Corporate Vice President, Environment, Energy and Safety Policy, and Secretary to the Public Policy Committee of the GM Board of Directors. She also served as General Counsel for GM. Beth has held various Executive positions, including Senior Knowledge Leader and a Principal of GreenOrder at LRN, where she was focused on working with global enterprises to develop sustainability strategies and advance pragmatic sustainability solutions and initiatives. Beth was also a partner at Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn and a law clerk to Michigan Supreme Court Justice G. Mennen Williams.
