Mahdi Mokrane
Head of Research and Strategy, LaSalle Investment Management
Mahdi Mokrane joined LaSalle in June 2013 as Head of Research and Strategy for Europe. Mokrane is based in London and oversees European property investment strategy and the regional Strategy team. Mokrane works closely with the Global Strategy team and serves on LaSalle’s UK Investment Committee (UK IC), European IC and European Management Board.
Before LaSalle, Mokrane was with AEW Europe, where he was Head of Research and Strategy. Mokrane has extensive experience in real estate transactions and portfolio management in both UK and Continental European markets. Prior to joining AEW in 2004, he worked at IPD as Director for Research and Training for France and Southern Europe from 2001 to 2004. He taught at the ESSEC Business School and holds a PhD in Economics and Finance from EHESS and a MSc from Dauphine University. Mokrane is an active member of industry organisations including IPD, INREV, and the ICSC.
