Matthias Thomas
Chief Executive Officer, INREV
Matthias Thomas arrived at INREV in mid-August 2010 to take over the role of chief executive officer. Thomas, who has a long and successful career in European real estate, joins INREV from the Real Estate Management Institute at the European Business School. In addition, he was managing director of IPD Investment Property Databank GmbH, which he founded in 1998.
Thomas’ interests include real estate portfolio management under consideration of both direct and indirect investments, real estate performance measurement as well as valuation. He has published more than 70 articles on various aspects of real estate, and has contributed to numerous national and international journals.
