David Capoblanco

Capobianco is the Managing Partner of Five Point Capital Partners and founded Five Point in 2011. Prior to founding Five Point, Capobianco was a founder and served as the co-head of the Private Equity Group of Vulcan Capital, the direct investment arm for Paul G. Allen. At Vulcan, Capobianco led the take-private of Plains Resources, Inc., the acquisition and development of Energy Center Investments, the spinout and subsequent build-up of Calumet Florida, and two private investments into Plains All American Pipeline, L.P. supporting the transformative acquisition of Link Energy and two strategic acquisitions of six pipeline systems from BP and Chevron.
