Public Pensions’ View of Private Equity

Some of the largest public pensions have put the squeeze on the number of GPs they work with, and there are challenges that these entities see when committing capital to the private equity asset class. Gerry Flintoft of TFG Capital Partners, who went from working at a large pension to a private investment advisor, explains some of these challenges, and investing in increasingly global markets with a small staff.
