Tony Weber
Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer, NGP Energy Capital Management
Mr. Tony Weber joined NGP in 2004 and serves as Managing Partner of the NGP funds. He also holds the responsibility as NGP’s Chief Operating Officer and oversees all day-to-day activities of the firm. In addition, Mr. Weber focuses on investment portfolio construction and monitoring, and assists in formulating the strategic initiatives of the firm. Prior to joining NGP, Mr. Weber was the CFO for Merit Energy Company, where he raised in excess of $1 billion of equity commitments from institutional investors, and oversaw Merit’s financial operations, which included the active management of the company’s banking relationships and capital markets activities.
