Fash joined Actis in 2010 from Bain & Company, to work exclusively in emerging economies, inspired by their potential and his wish to contribute to their healthy development. He started his career with Ashanti Goldfields in Ghana as a Research Metallurgist, before becoming a Research Fellow in the Department of Chemical Engineering, at the University of Cape Town. In 1999, he joined Bain & Company where he spent more than a decade, working first in South Africa and then in the UK, managing the firm’s London private equity practice.
