Leo de Bever

de Bever joined the Alberta Investment Management Corporation as CEO in August 2008. In that role, he leads the AIMCo team in its efforts to deliver superior long-term results. Leo is a representative on the Board of Directors of the River Valley Alliance in Edmonton and Dutch pension fund ABP. He is Co-Chair of the Alberta Financial Services Steering Committee and also sits on the President’s Think Tank for the University of Alberta. Leo is a member of the Investment Advisory Committee of Dutch pension fund APG and is on the Board of the International Centre for Pension Management based in Toronto. For nearly ten years Leo served as a senior vice-president at the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan.
